Members are invited to join us for our upcoming webinar which will consider the rise and importance of ESG and its application within the recruitment sector. Mark Thompson from Barclays will cover recent developments in ESG and also consider priorities going forward, illustrated via Barclays own response to the agenda. Priorities for the recruitment sector will be discussed, including the rise of the ESG professional. The format will include a content presentation and a plenary Q&A session.

Mark is a Director in Barclays Group Sustainability & ESG team where he leads on ESG knowledge and capacity-building across the bank. Work includes engagement and facilitation across a network of over sixty committees, working groups and employee-led networks across Barclays with a focus on Climate and ESG. He is also developing an ESG training curriculum and programme designed to equip all Barclays staff with basic levels of awareness around climate and ESG with pathways of advanced learning for client-facing staff to enable them to pursue the opportunities around green and sustainable finance.
