Patrick Ford’s expertise includes advising on employment tax issues with a particular focus on the recruitment sector. He also has varied experience of employee incentive work and has drafted documentation for, implemented and advised on the operation of a wide range of equity-based employee incentive arrangements.

Chris Kelly is a director based in our London office. He specialises in all areas of labour and employment law, advising UK-based and international businesses on contentious and non-contentious matters. Chris is often praised by clients for his ability to respond rapidly with clear and commercially sensitive advice.
Chris has also provided bespoke in-house training on conducting disciplinary investigations, handling grievances and responding to Tribunal litigation. Chris is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Annabel Mace is a partner in our Labour & Employment practice group and leads our UK Business Immigration team. She has more than 20 years’ experience advising businesses across a range of sectors on all aspects of business immigration and employment law.
She has in-depth expertise in the Home Office’s Points Based System, particularly in relation to compliance issues arising out of maintaining sponsor licences. She also regularly advises clients on more complex matters (particularly where there is an immigration/employment overlap).
Annabel speaks regularly at seminars and workshops as part of the Labour & Employment Practice’s national seminar programme, as well as at bespoke client training sessions. She is also an updating author for immigration matters on the employment law website XpertHR.
She is an active participant in the firm’s pro bono initiatives.

Alison Treliving co-chairs our global Labour & Employment Practice Group. Alison has over 15 years’ experience of representing clients operating in the recruitment sector and those end-user clients engaging with recruiters. Alison advises on all aspects of employment law affecting those in the recruitment sector as well as having expertise in relation to recruitment specific legislation. In addition, Alison regularly provides strategic support to clients on matters such as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), investigations and whistleblowing, board-level appointments and departures, multijurisdictional projects, sensitive and complex disciplinary and grievance matters, cross-jurisdictional disputes and business reorganisations. She is also an experienced litigator who takes a particular interest in complex discrimination claims.
